Renae Ayris was crowned Miss Australia 2012 on 9 June 2012 in a ceremony held at Melbourne's Sofitel Hotel, outdoing 35 other delegates from across the country. Renae Ayris is an official representative of Australia at the Miss Universe 2012. As Miss Universe Australia, Renae got the opportunity to travel around her country working in charities, events and shoots and most recently worked with Operation Smile in China doing surgeries in kids with facial disfigurement.

Olivia Culpo was born on May 8, 1992 in Cranston, Rhode Island, US, Education St. Mary Academy. Height 5' 5" (1.65m) Olivia Culpo won the title of Miss USA. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder Alyssa Campanella, Miss USA 2011. On July 6, 2012, The city of Cranston, Rhode Island held a special homecoming celebration honoring Culpo for her pageant win. Culpo represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant that was held on December 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She won the competition and was crowned Miss Universe 2012. She succeeds outgoing titleholder, Leila Lopes from Angola.
