Giuliiana Zevallos was Miss Earth Peru 2008 and she was crowned Miss Continente Americano 1010 on September 18, 2010. She won Miss Peru 2010 that gaining the right to represent Peru in Miss Universe 2010,  On February 9, 2012 Giuliana Zevallos was designated as the new Miss Perú World. She now has the task of representing her country in the Miss World 2012 pageant which will be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.

 On March 17, 2011she won Miss Ecuador 2011 where she obtained the right to represent Ecuador in Miss Universe 2011. was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011 but she did not  took place in this competition. On October 22, 2011, Schiess won the title of Miss Continente Americano 2011.
