Andam was a cum laude graduate of the University of the Philippines School of Economics. She entered the University of the Philippines College of Law, where she obtained her law degree in 2004. She was the recipient of the Dean's Medal for Academic Excellence upon graduation from law school. She took the annual Philippine Bar Exams in September 2004 and was admitted to the Philippine bar in May 2005. She currently practices law in Manila.
As the holder of the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe title, Andam represented the Philippines in the 2001 Miss Universe pageant. She hosted the television show Good Take, which aired on IBC-13. From November 2, 2009, she replaced Thea Gavino as the host of IBC News Tonight until she was replaced by Joee Guilas in 2010.
