Biography
Amrita Thapar from Pune won the Miss India crown in the year 2005, she went on to represent India at the Miss Universe pageant. She is a fashion designer, a stylist, a painter, a fashion writer and orator. She has been the spokesperson of Berlin and Maurtius tourism. She is also an active founding member of the forthcoming Commonwealth games. She was based in New York in the year 2008 and now spends her time in Pune, Mumbai and New York.
