Miss World 2011, the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant took place at the Earls Court Two on November 6, 2011 in London. As part of the events, the contestants also traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland between October 23 and October 27.

Miss World Philippines Gwendoline Ruais (others spell it as Gwendolyn Ruais) enters the Miss World 2011 Top 20 in the beach beauty competition held at Earls Court at London last Tuesday.
In addition, Gwendoline Ruais is among the Miss World 2011 Top 30 Presentations for Beauty with a Purpose, which focus on the humanitarian side of Miss World and aims to raise awareness and funds for charities worldwide.
According to her bio, Ruais, 21, who won the Miss World Philippines 2011 last September 18, is half-Filipino and half-French, and finished a Business Management degree last year, major in Marketing.
Ruais stands 5″10′ and is part of the Model United Nations Assembly, an academic simulation of the United Nations. She now ranks 15th in Missosology’s “Hot Picks” for the week of October 20.
