Biography
María Jesús Ruiz Garzón Spanish model winner of Miss Spain 2004, represented her country at Miss Universe 2004 and Hispanic-American Queen 2007.
Maria Jesus grew up in Andújar (Jaén province) with her parents, Miguel Ruiz, and Juani Garzón, along with Susan (sister) and Michael (brother).
Diploma in Education from the University of Jaén, majored in French being French teacher internships for high school students to its proclamation as Miss Spain, at which time she had to leave part of teaching and to pursue studies in Educational Psychology their commitments as Miss Spain.
Maria Jesus participated in the Miss Spain in 2004, representing the province of Jaen to be previously selected in the provincial contest of Miss Jaén. In addition to clinching the title of Miss Spain, was awarded the prize of Miss Marina d'Or. After winning the title at the age of 21 he traveled to Ecuador to represent Spain in Miss Universe 2004.
In Miss Universe, despite being the favorite, failed to rank among the 15 finalists.
After Miss Spain
After her participation in Miss Spain Maria Jesus, wanted to focus his career towards the interpretation and fashion.
In 2007 he returned to the runways, 3 years after participation in Miss Spain, which was selected to be the Spanish representative in the international competition Reina Hispano 2007 getting into the event a position of 2 nd bridesmaid proving to be a good representative of their country.
