Patricia Yurena Rodríguez Alonso is a Spanish beauty queen who captured the crown of Miss España in 2008 and was a top 15 semifinalist in Miss World 2008.
Rodríguez grew up in Charco del Pino, Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife along with her parents.
At seventeen-years-old, she was elected Miss Spain 2008, the official representative to Miss Universe, in Oropesa del Mar, Castellón.
But due to Miss Universe eligibility regulations that state every contestant must be eighteen before February 1, Rodríguez was ineligible to attend Miss Universe 2008 in Nha Trang, Vietnam and first runner-up Claudia Moro of Madrid went instead.
Miss World
Rodríguez was sent to compete in Miss World 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she placed as one of the top 15 semifinalists.
