Rachel Legrain-Trapani was born on August 31, 1988, Saint-Saulve, Nord.  Living in Saint-Quentin, height 172 cm, hair color brown, eye color brown. She was elected Miss Aisne, and chosen to represent the region of Picardie at Miss France in 2007 (Winner)
She succeeded Alexandra Rosenfeld as the 53rd Miss France on December 9, 2006.

Originally Legrain-Trapani was going to allow her first runner-up Sophie Vouzelaud, the first deaf or hard of hearing finalist for Miss France, to compete at Miss World 2007 however the Miss World Organization refused to accept any contestant but the proper winner. (Source Miss Universe)
