On October 5 2007 Anagabriela Expinoza competed against 33 other contestants in the Nuestra Bellexa Mexico held in Colina, She obtained second place and She represented Mexico to compete in Miss World 2008 pageant. on November 29, 2008 she won Miss World Beach Beauty held in Durban, South Africa At the end of the event held in Johannesburg on December 13, 2008 Anagabriela placed Top 15.
Anagabriela chosen to represent Mexico in Miss International 2009 held in Sichuan, China on November 28, 2009. At the final result Anagabriela won the Miss International 2009. She became the second Mexican delegate to win that title, just two years after Priscila Perales' victory in 2007.
