Born Taiza Thomsen Severina in Santa Catarina. She took place 1st runner-up in Miss Brazil Mundo 2002. the winner of Miss Mundo Brazil was Josiane Oliveira, and she was stripped of her crown because she had illegally married, therefore Taiza Thomsen was choosen as representative of Brazil in Miss World 2002 pageant held in London, England on December 7, 2002.
Hobbies are Singing, reading, swimming, tennis, samba and belly dancing, currently she worked as a Journalist, TV presenter, and model.
