In 2006, Olga Olava won second place Ecuador's Super Model of the World Competition and In October 2008, Olga Olava won the Reina de Guayaquil pageant. After placed third runner-up in Miss Ecuador 2011, she was crowned Miss Earth Ecuador 2011 on July 28, 2011.
On October 2011 Olga competed in the Reina Hispanoamericana where she place fourth (second runner-up) and on December 3, 2011 Olga Olava was crowned Miss Earth 2011 by Miss Earth 2010 Nocole Faria in Quezon City, Philippine.

On November 24, 2012 Tereza Fajksová was crowned Miss Earth 2012 at the Versailles Palace in
Alabang , Muntinlupa City, Philippines. She is the first from Czech to get the title and the third European contestant to be crowned Miss Earth.
