Karin Ontiveros was crowned Nuestra Belleza Jalisco at the night of July 22, 2010, then she competed in the national competition where she became the third consecutive Nuestra Belleza Mexico on September 25, 2010, she was crowned by the Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete, then Karin Participated in Miss Universe 2011 pageant but she was unplaced. Two months after competing in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant Karin Ontiveros is persuing a modeling career with Hollywood Model Management in Los Angeles, California.
