Remona Moodley has an Electrical Engineering degree from University of Cape Town, she held titile of First Princess for Miss SA Teen in 2006. Remono won Miss SA world 2011 and she represented SA in Miss World 2012 was held on August 18, 2012  in Ordos, China. At the end of the event Remona awarded MIss World Beach Fashion 2012 where she placed 35th of Top 40.
